Ronald L. Erickson, avid golfer, enthusiastic dancer, arrowhead hunter,
sports fanatic, and lover of all things BYU, passed away September 14,
2023. He grew up in Cleveland, UT and regaled his family with stories of
growing up there with his 16 sisters and brothers. He remained close to
his large Erickson clan.
During his stint in the US Air Force during the Korean War, he worked
as an air traffic controller. Returning stateside, he used those skills in a
career as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation
Administration.
Ron and Lorraine Price married in 1985 and he often said that it was
their love for each other that kept him alive. He is also survived by
daughters Rhonda and Linda; stepchildren, Susan, Cindy, Jana, and Jeff;
his brother, Eric; and numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. One of the tragedies of Ron’s life was when he lost his
son, Joey, at the tender age of 9.
The family appreciates the care and friendship given by Don, Doyle, and
the staff at Harmony Hospice.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
