Stephanie Cathleen Hill passed away on April 22, 2021 in Sedona, Arizona at the age of 46. She was born on December 25, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard and Lynda Kemp. Stephanie married Jared Hill on July 30, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Stephanie was a woman of many different talents. Musically, Stephanie recorded two religious music albums and regularly sang the National Anthem at Utah Jazz Games. She was an avid road cyclist and mountain biker. She loved Comic-Con and all things Disney. She was a self-taught cook, and owned and operated a business providing personal chef services in New York. After 23 years of not being able to have children, Jared and Stephanie were blessed in 2016 with their son Ryder when she was 41, and their daughter, Charley following in 2018. Stephanie loved being a mother to her children. Stephanie’s family and friends will never forget her genuine love, kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jared Hill, her two beautiful children; Ryder and Charley, her parents: Richard and Lynda Kemp, her brothers: Dan Kemp, Tony Kemp, Dave Kemp, and her sisters: Colleen Jemmett, and Melissa Jackson.

Funeral services will be held outdoors on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Viewings will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the same location, and again on Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Interment to follow the funeral at the same location. Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are following state and local guidelines for COVID-19 with no more than 50 people are able to be in the building at a time, and attendees will rotate in and out of the building. The services will be held under a large canopy for all to attend and be present. The Hill family invites any who would like to join.
