Andrea Kesler Prickett was born Oct 29, 1980, in Hinsdale, Illinois to Kathleen Zaharias and Christopher Scott Kesler. Drea passed away peacefully surrounded by all four of her loving parents on June 17, 2023, in Fresno, California at the age of 42.
She spent her childhood in the Salt Lake Valley area, graduating from Copper Hills High in 1999. Drea had a successful 20-year career with Jamba Juice in Utah and Colorado, which concluded in California as a district manager. In 2005, Drea married Matthew Ekins, with whom her first son was born, Zachary Matthew Ekins, in 2008. She later divorced. In 2016, she married David R. Prickett becoming a loving stepmother to James and Davey Jean, and later welcoming to their family her youngest son, Raymond Jake Prickett in 2020.
Over her lifetime, Drea enthusiastically started up a variety of successful home businesses, but her biggest passion by far was The Prickett Family Daniffs from which she found the joy of breeding, raising, and caring for litters of puppies who were sent to a multitude of loving homes. In addition to her lifelong love of "dog collecting," Drea was part of a roller derby community as well as a racing community, where she was embraced by a loving circle of friends-- many whom she considered family.
She is survived by her parents Kathleen and Mike Snodgrass, Christopher and Keli Kesler. Husband David R. Prickett. Children Zachary Matthew Ekins and Raymond Jake Prickett. Step children James (Alyssa) Prickett and Davey Jean Prickett. Grandchild Kinsley Prickett.
