Anthony Bruce Brown passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 82. Anthony was born on May 23, 1944, in Salt Lake County, Utah, to Florence C. Brown and Walter Brown. He was the fourth of seven children and graduated from Provo High School in 1962. In 1964, Anthony enlisted in the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Oklahoma City before being discharged in 1965. In 1970, Anthony
met the love of his life, Patience Ann Brinkman. They were married on June 7, 1974, and had just celebrated 52 years of marriage. Together they built a loving blended family of seven children: Vicky Brown (Ron), Robert Brown, Edward Dockery (Stephanie), Christine St. John, Anthony Brown Jr. (Cynthia), Tresa Ann Aragon, and Richard Brown. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Known for his humor, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need, Anthony was truly a jack-of-all-trades. Throughout his life he worked as a machinist and truck driver. Later, he turned his mechanical talents into a small engine repair business that became both a side job and a beloved hobby. Anthony enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, repairing engines, and spending time with family and friends. Whether sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or making someone laugh, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Florence C. Brown and Walter Brown, and by two of his beloved children, Edward Dockery and Tresa Ann Aragon. The love he had for them never faded, and their memories remained close to his heart every day.
“A life well lived leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.”
Forever loved, forever remembered.
