Benjamin "Ben" Ward Kerbs, 52, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on October 26, 2023, in Playa Escondida, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He was born on January 22, 1971, in Salt Lake City. Ben was a kind and generous person who had a zest for adventure.
Ben met the love of his life, Annette Knibbe, in 1995, they were later married and sealed in the LDS temple. She has been his devoted companion for over 28 years, helping build the life that Ben dreamed of.
He was the beloved son of Bill and Gai Kerbs, and Freedom and Edna Yocum. He is survived by his wife Annette, his parents, Bill, Gai and Edna and siblings David, Charlotte, Adam, Amy, Hyrum, Candace, Tony, Crystal and Lita. Benjamin is also survived by his children Benjamin Jr, April, Bryce, Zach, Adam, and grandchildren Skylee, Rocky, and Rylee. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jill Divine, William R. Kerbs, Andy Yocum and his father Freedom Yocum. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Benjamin attended Jordan High School and later went on to own Any and All Towing and Power Sports.
In his free time, Ben enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including fishing, kayaking, snowboarding, flying airplanes, pickleball, mountain biking, tennis, surfing, boating, spear fishing, free diving, skydiving, playing the piano and singing. He truly embraced life and sought adventure in everything he did.
Benjamin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He found great comfort in his relationship with Christ and made many amazing friends in his church community.
A funeral service will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 at 12:00pm at the LDS ward house located at 10168 S 1110 W South Jordan, Ut 84095. Following the funeral services, there will be a celebration of life from 3:00-5:00 pm at The View Event Center located at 11649 S 4000 W Unit 310 South Jordan, Ut 84009. At the celebration of life, there will be open mic available from 3-4 for anyone wanting to share a story about Ben.
Ben will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in our hearts.
