Betty Jean (Mason) Holston, born September 12, 1940, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, sister, and friend, Betty was known for her radiant smile, comforting presence, and resilient spirit. Her familiar saying, “If it ain’t one thing, it’s another,” reflected her humor and strength throughout life’s challenges.

She was the beloved mother of Micheal Mitchell (Tracy), Norris Ratcliff, Virginia Pike (Marty), Jeannette Smith, Yvonne Smith, Ernestine Owens, and Delerie Magee(Tim), and the proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren and many great‑grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Lois Mason, and her son, Micheal Mitchell.

Betty’s home was a place of warmth, love, and unforgettable meals—especially her famous banana pudding. She touched countless lives with her generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.

A celebration of her life will be held on April 4, 2026, at Redwood Memorial 6500 S Redwood Road, 84123 West Jordan, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery 1342 E 500 S, 84102. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at IHC in Murray.

Betty Jean Holston will be remembered for her boundless love, joyful spirit, and the lasting legacy she leaves in the hearts of all who knew her.
