Brittany "Britta" Morgan Perry

Jul 21, 1985 Feb 19, 2022

Brittany Morgan Perry, born in England on July 21, 1985, passed away on February 19, 2022, in Lehi, Utah.

Brittany is survived by her parents Richard Perry and Shawn Bair as well as her three siblings: Kindell, Cami, and Lauren and her life partner Bryan.

Brittany was a deeply loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend. Brittany graduated from Monarch high school in Louisville Colorado 2003 and attended college for a brief time, with interest in becoming children’s counselor. As a child Britt was interested in science, gathering rocks, and researching their names, finding thimbles from places visited and adding them to her collection. She loved sketching, reading, and writing and talked about one day writing a book.

Brittany had a big heart; she lived her life with compassion; feeling concern for those in need. She was tremendously giving of herself and had a need to ensure that whoever she was with felt safe and loved. As an example, although a little puzzling at the time, I was concerned why Brittany no longer had her brand-new shoes that she had recently received. She confessed that she had taken them off her feet to give them to a homeless person. She would rather be uncomfortable herself than see someone else in discomfort. The lessons in life are often learned by those revealing their true selves.

Although Brittany enjoyed several different types of music, her favorite song that she and her dad shared was ‘Don’t Give Up’ by Peter Gabriel. This truly epitomized Brittany’s life. She also had her share of struggles that she battled.

Brittany always wanted to spend whatever time was needed to develop deep connections with people around her. Her first thought was never for herself but for the many in her life for whom she cared so deeply.

Some of Brittany’s favorite times were spending time with her family.

Those that were fortunate enough to know her, loved her deeply. She was brave, caring, beautiful, smart, funny, extremely loyal, and deeply committed to her family and loved ones. She will be profoundly missed. She left the world a better place for being in it by those she’s loved and those she met along her path.

Brittany had said she wanted to become a tree when she passed, this will be done with her cremated remains so she can again grow into something beautiful.

We love you dearly Britt, your family, and friends.

Brittany wrote this to her younger sister Cami "The only thing you truly have control over is you. Things are going to happen throughout your life, good and bad, you can't stop them from happening, but you can decide how to react. - Brittany Perry
