Christopher spent his life living the way he wanted to live. He always stayed true to who and how he was no matter what obstacle was ahead of him. He was an abundance of characteristics, as he was many characters in different lights. Christopher’s name holds a great amount of happiness to anyone who knew him. If you heard his laugh, you laughed. When you saw his smile, you smiled. He was welcomed into this world by an army of his own - one he always protected, when necessary, at any cost. Christopher had many things to get him through a regular day but he loved nothing more than his family. Though Christopher was always his own person, he never broke ties with the ones he wanted around him. When he loved you, you just knew it.

Christopher is survived by his parents Ofa and Jose Contreras; mother of his children Rhionna Frampton; son Xavier Garcia; daughter Xia Garcia; brothers Isaac Garcia and Julio Contreras; sisters Giovanna, Damaris and Jaqui Contreras; Grandparents; many cousins; and Christopher James Garcia Sr.

Christopher is preceded in death by his uncle Steven Manisela; sister Alyissa Garcia; great grandmother Aurelia Beltran; cousin Jessey Guilliams

A viewing will be held Sunday August 2, 2020 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM with an outdoor service to follow shortly at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123. Following Salt Lake County’s mandate on facial coverings, masks are mandatory at all public gatherings; social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to make it to the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries is offering livestreaming of the services.
