David Stark

David C. Stark, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on June 5, 1939, in Mesa, Arizona, David was a devoted family man, a talented electrical engineer, and an animal lover who cherished his time with family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his two sons, Rod and David Allen Stark, who will forever hold a special place in his heart. He leaves behind his daughters, Chelsea Stark and Jamie Harris, who carry forward his legacy of love and strength, as well as his grandchildren, who brought him great joy in his later years.

David had a long and fulfilling career as an electrical engineer at Varian, where he was known for his dedication and expertise. After retiring, he embraced his time with his grandchildren and his many beloved animals, which brought him comfort and companionship in his later years. He has been beloved by many and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate David's life on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary. 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. 435-673-2454. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering David and honoring his legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local animal shelter, a cause that David cared deeply about.
