1952 – 2019

Ogden, UT- Deborah (Debra) Louise Fox Pearson passed away on September 7, 2019.

Debra was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 4, 1952 to Donald Ray Fox and Jeannie Lucile Unopulos

Fox. She graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake City in 1970.

Debra married Craig Wood Jennings on September 2, 1970, in Salt Lake City. They later divorced. On

February 5, 1973 Debra gave birth to Shane R. Jennings and on December 9, 1977 she gave birth to

Christian David Jennings. Debra married Roosevelt (Sonny) Pearson on December 16, 1988.

Although she faced many challenges in life, time spent with family and being in the outdoors brought

her the most happiness. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and crafting, especially making jewelry.

“It’s a shame how easy it is to forget the people that have helped us out along our journey of life! There

are those who have helped us in ways we don’t at the time realize that it was a help to us, there are

those that have, or so we thought, hindered us, when in actuality they made us feel compassion towards

those less fortunate than ourselves! Every incident in our lives is a learning process and we need to take

it all in and figure out the meaning of life events and be thankful to those that have taken the time to do

something for us whether we think it was a benefit or not! After all they could have turned their back on us and not taken the time to be there at all! No one is right all the time and we all can learn something

from everyone, it’s what we do with what we learn that is important!”

Debra is survived by her husband (Sonny); children Shane (Julie) Jennings; Christian Jennings;

stepchildren, Melanie (Michael) Hagen; Amber (Russell) Simmons; sibling Bradford R. (Mary Ruth) Fox;

twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Don & Jeannie Fox; sister, Opal Jean (Jeannie) Applegate and brother, James Courtland (Corky) Egner.
