Dennis Lynn England

Jun 2, 1950 Aug 2, 2024

Dennis L. England joined the angels on August 2, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on June 2, 1950, in Logan, UT, and grew up in Pocatello, ID, alongside his siblings, Donald, Terry, and Donnette. Terry and Donnette have preceded Dennis in death.

Dennis held an associate degree in printing.

He met his wife, Carolyn, on October 31, 1970, and romance quickly blossomed. They were married on February 22, 1974, and most recently resided in Sandy, UT.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn; his son, James and wife, Jesika of Draper, UT; daughter, Jenni and husband, Mike Bowes of Taylorsville, UT; and daughter, Heather and wife Amanda of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ember Crosby of Green River, WY and Caiden Crosby of South Jordan, UT. Additionally, Dennis is survived by his brother Don of Melbourne, FL, and his recently found half-brother Robert of Peoria, IL.

Dennis often joked about having a "black hole" for a heart, but anyone who knew him understood that was far from the truth. He was a longtime participant in the Festival of Trees, benefiting Primary Children’s Hospital. His joy came from planning the theme for the tree and finding all the perfect items. Dennis was always eager to lend a hand to anyone in need.

A devoted Utes fan, Dennis was known for his spirited enthusiasm during football games, sometimes requiring Carolyn to remind him to calm down. Dennis and Carolyn shared many memorable trips to their happy place, Yellowstone National Park, where he could spend days watching Old Faithful, bears, eagles, and buffalo. He also enjoyed spending time with his grand-puppy Jameson, the only dog he ever loved.
