In Loving Memory of Develon Dale Isom

March 27, 1970 - May 6, 2026

Develon Dale Isom, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Washington, Utah. He was the oldest of six children, born on March 27, 1970, in St. George, Utah, to Dale and Kathy Isom.

Develon graduated from Hurricane High School, Class of 1988, and became a true jack of all trades throughout his life. His hardworking spirit and determination led him through many professions including framing homes, concrete work, professional tile work, roofing, stucco finishing, vinyl siding and aluminum rain gutter installation, and auto body repair. He later became the proud owner and operator of Charger Road Side Assistance, where he formed many lasting friendships and built a business he cared deeply about.

Develon had a sharp mind and a deep curiosity about the world around him. He enjoyed reading books about American history, economics, self-improvement, and World War II. He faithfully read two newspapers daily and stayed informed on local, state and national events. He earned his bachelor's degree from Dixie State College and maintained a lifelong appreciation for learning.

He loved sports, especially studying statistics and cheering on his favorite Pittsburgh teams. Develon also had a special love for animals and treasured the many dogs he had throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Isom; brothers Dane (Jamie) Isom, Dameien Isom, Dereck Isom and Delyn Isom; sister DenDra (Marc) Brown; and sixteen nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind several lifelong friends who meant so much to him: Doug Brey, Trent Cox, Scott Gubler, Kyle Haines, Jarrod Memmott, Alan Biardi, Darrin Nelson and Dave Velete.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale R. Isom and Trudy.

Above all, Develon will be remembered for his hardworking nature, intelligence, loyalty, sense of humor and the friendships and family bonds he cherished throughout his life. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank their extended family, friends and community for the love, prayers and support they have received during this difficult time.

Go Steelers 💛🖤
