Our dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother, Diane A. Anderson, 85, returned to our Father in heaven, on Monday, January 15, 2024. Diane was born December 24, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alvin and Dorthy Kammerath, as the Eldest of 8 Children.

Diane married Don A. Anderson on October 28, 1986, in Elko, Nevada. They later were sealed for time and eternity in the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her former marriages include, Gayle L. McDonald, together they had 6 daughters. Her second marriage was to Ralph B. Norris.

Diane raised her daughters in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a great seamstress, making dresses for her girls and always looking for your ‘Mending’ when she came to visit. She had a love for piano and could play so beautifully despite having severe Rheumatoid arthritis. Her nick name was ‘Lead Foot Annie’ as one of her past time hobbies, was dragging state street in her 1978 ‘smokey & the bandit’ edition Macho Trans Am & her 1964 ½ convertible mustang. She flourished some of the healthiest rose bushes anyone has ever seen and one of her greatest accomplishments was her family.

Diane faced many challenges in her life and experienced each as a sacred opportunity to grow. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her efforts to live and practice Gospel teachings, especially during times of difficulty, has served as a powerful example to her family.

As a long-term resident of Ivins, Utah she fell in love with the Red Mountain and its residents. She formed many relationships with her neighbors and refused to leave the area, despite her obstacle of health.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends who will forever cherish her legacy of strength, kindness, unwavering, and unconditional love.

Diane is survived by her husband, Don A. Anderson along with her six daughters: Vicki (Eugene) Denbow, Lesa (Dave) Linnarz, Christi (Charlie) Clark, Shelley Mckevitt, Tracy Clark & Stephanie (Wes) Hutchings; 13 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, with one on the way.
