Diane Maggard, 70, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in the comfort of her New Harmony home, surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born on January 5, 1956, in Ithica, New York to parents John D. Howe and Maxine Lowry-Howe. Diane’s life was a testament of unconditional love, laughter and dedication.
Diane was a woman with many passions. She loved to garden, cook, loved boating and camping, loved to spend time with family, friends and especially her grandkids. Diane was an amazing wife, an incredible mother, an outstanding Grandma and a loyal friend. Diane was kind, caring, generous, loving and adventurous.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Stan Maggard, and their three children; Tyson Maggard (Tana Topalian), Jordan Maggard Allred (Kelton Allred), and Kerstin Bolton-Cook (Bryan Cook). Diane will be deeply missed by her seven grandchildren; Dallas Maggard, Alli Allred, Haistyn Allred, Kove Allred, Cody Bolton, Jessica Bolton and Harper Irvin. Diane’s memory will live on through her family, whose lives have been enriched by her unwavering love and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Diane’s honor on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her New Harmony home from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. 234 New Harmony Drive, New Harmony, Utah 84757.
