Donna Mary Hadfield Mitchell born to William Lindsay Mitchell and Charlotte Gough on 5/21/1923, died January 24, 2018. Married John Wilson Mitchell (d) in Salt Lake Temple 4/17/1946. Children: Mark (Janet), Jean (d), William (d) (Lorraine), Robert (Joanne) and Eric Mitchell. Sixteen grandchildren and forty-three great grandchildren. Graduated from Lehi High School, attended BYU, trained in Seattle to be a Naval Nurse (WW2) and graduated from LDS hospital in 1946 as a nurse. She loved her family, the Gospel of Jesus Christ and served tirelessly in the temples and in performing family history work until her final days. The arts, especially music, gave her joy as she had a beautiful voice. Played piano and trombone. Accompanied in church from age 13-90. Loved the outdoors, horses, the mountains and streams. Seventh of 8 children, she is survived by sister Willa Wing. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah.
