Doris was born in Osorno, Chile and moved with her husband and children to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1980. She passed away on November 25, 2022, surrounded by her family who adored her. She will be reunited with her beloved husband Aliro Muñoz Bahamonde, to whom she was sealed in the Jordan River Temple.

Mama Do, as her grandchildren called her, was a true matriarch, her joy was keeping the family ties strong and offering her unconditional love and support to her children and grandchildren. Her qualities and talents were innumerable. We'll always remember her generosity and willingness to help anyone with anything at any time, her entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude, and her amazing gifts in the kitchen.

Mama Do is survived by her daughter Patricia, grandson Andrew, her son Mauricio, daughter-in-law Annie, grandchildren Samuel (Chelsea), Luke (Shelbie) and Izabella, her daughter Ximena, son-in-law Patrick Walmsley and grandchildren Sebastian and Christian.

A celebration of her life will take place in the spring or summer of 2023.
