Edith Elva Rawlins Romriell passed away on August 18th, 2018 at her home in Pocatello, Idaho, at the age of 96. She was surrounded by her loved ones.
Edith was born November 4th, 1921 in Firth, Idaho to William LeRoy Mecham and Grace Adeline Dye. She was one of 4 children.
On February 6th, 1938, Edith married Lawrence (Larry) C. Rawlins in Pocatello, Idaho. The marriage was solemnized on February 6th, 1957 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Edith lost her dear husband, Larry on March 9th 1986. She married Earl L. Romriell on December 13th 2003. Earl passed away March 3rd, 2015.
Edith lived a full life. She loved being with family and friends. Edith was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was also involved with the Golden Age, and the Senior Activity Center. Just to name a few of her many interests, she enjoyed crafts, shopping, gardening, traveling, and serving others. Edith was loved by many for her spunk and wit. She will be missed greatly by those she left behind.
Edith is survived by her 5 children; Delbert (Jody) Rawlins; Carolyn (Richard) Winn; Larry (Pat) Rawlins; JeDeanne Thomas; Michelle (Brent) Lott. She is also survived by Earl’s children; Gregory (Ann) Romriell; Dwight (Denise) Romriell; Debby (Michael) Garvin; Alan (Dorothy) Romriell; Philip (Tami) Romriell; David (Penny) Romriell. Edith is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 12 Noon at the L.D.S. 41st Ward Chapel (1700 W. Kinghorn Rd). The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30 am to 11:45 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Firth City Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
