Garry Ferre of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away July 27, 2024 at the age of 76.

Garry was born January 5, 1948 in Provo, Utah to Alma and Ruth Ferre. Garry was a twin with Jerry. Garry married JoAnne Bell and they had 4 children. They later divorced and he married Shirley J. Christiansen. Garry and Shirley served an LDS mission on the reservation in Tempe, AZ, he spent many years serving in the Boy Scouts organization. Garry loved to hunt and fish and would always tell you how much he enjoyed these things. Garry spent most of his life working as a machinist at Geneva Steel.

He is survived by his 4 children, Kerry (Betty) Ferre, Carl (Mickey) Ferre, Gayle (Emery) Openshaw, and Frank (Amanda) Ferre, 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his Siblings LaRene Braithwaite, Jerry Ferre, and Virginia Gore. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles and his wife Shirley.

A viewing will be held Thursday August 1, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Walker Funeral home in Spanish Fork.

Graveside Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Spanish Fork Cemetery, with a viewing from 9:30 am-10:30 am at Walker Funeral home
