Geraldine Ethel Sherwood, age 94, died July 19, 2024 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born May 18. 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frederick and Ethel Nelson. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Lyman Sherwood, May 27, 1949. Jeri graduated from South High School. She worked for Becton Dickinson Pharmaceutical as a lab technician. Jeri enjoyed in her earlier years modeling wedding dresses for ZCMI, working as an elevator operator, and making many friends as a hair stylist. Upon retirement, she and Tom moved to Mesquite. She enjoyed many years of great friendships, bingo, and her blue mustang. She had a great sense of humor. A true classy lady who will be missed!

Geraldine is survived by her loving sons, Thomas Cy (Sally), Steven (Conee), grandchildren, Joseph, Nicole, Thomas, Julia, and Owen. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Copper Creek Senior Living and Ovation Hospice for their care.

A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, Utah) on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
