Helen passed away on January 3, 2022, at her home in Magna Utah. She was born November 25, 1946, to Nick and Dora Gallegos. She met and fell in love with George Candelario on November 25, 1966. They were later married April 2, 1977.

Mom loved listening to music, singing to her grandbabies, and trips to Wendover with our dad. She was a great friend, always ready to listen, give advice and laugh. She also had a great sense of humor. Mom was a spiritual person and loved her family very much.

Mom is survived by her children: LeAnn (Paul) Warden, and Crystal (Jose) Monreal. Grandchildren: David, Lawrence, Joseph, Jesse, Lucas, Emilio, and Aleyah. Daughter-in-Law Josie; sister Virginia Gallegos; brother, Leroy Gallegos; and Sister-in-Laws: Gloria Duran and Genee Gallegos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, and beloved son David, brothers: Tom, Sam, Toby, and sisters: Belle & Gloria.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Frame at Utah Cancer Specialists for his compassion and care for our mom.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah. Burial will take place at a later time.
