Jeffrey James Mendiola

Jul 7, 1965 Oct 13, 2024

Jeremy Mendiola passed away on October 13, 2022 in his city in Reno, NV. after a car accident had occurred.

Jeremy was born on July 7, 1965 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Michelle and Jonathan Mendiola. He grew up in Grants Pass, OR and was the oldest child with a younger brother and a younger sister. Jeremy is survived by wife Carla Mendiola; his daughter Tessa Mendiola; his son Austin Mendiola; and his siblings Ron, and Angela.

He grew up loving the outdoors and fishing. Jeremy attended Grants Pass High School (1978-82) where he was known for playing football. After high school he met

Carla who he loved dearly. They moved to Reno, NV that later turned his career into real estate. Carla and Jeremy made a family with their son Austin Mendiola and Tessa Mendiola.

He and his young family loved to ride dirt bikes and atvs together whenever they could and he also loved spending some of his free time building cars. Every year he would take his family to Disneyland where he would just have to ride Pirates of the Caribbean first!

Jeremy later went on to marry Jessica Thornton. He loved the heat and fishing often. Jeremy always knew how to make everyone laugh; whether it was a goofy face or a bad “dad joke”. He loved life and always lived it to the fullest.

Jeremy loved his faith, his family, traveling, being a grandpa, pickled beets, and helping anyone whenever the opportunity arose.

We love you so much Jeremy! We hope you have fun fishing with grandpa until we see you again!

Jeremy did not want a funeral but there will be a celebration of life with his closest family members to be held at a later date.
