John "Jack" Rorison Franchow passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Jack was born on November 22, 1934, in Buffalo, New York to Christopher and Sarah Franchow. He married the love of his life Sarah "Sally" Ann on August 16, 1969.

Jack was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Army for two years and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He graduated from the University of Utah on June 10, 1957, with a bachelors in business. He worked as a commercial lines underwriter at Ohio Casualty.

Jack is survived by his daughters Janet Farnes, Judy (Dale) Yoder, and Kristen (Will) Lower; his son Matt Franchow; Grandchildren Emilie, Landon, Cassandra, Karina, Elizabeth, and William; And a great granddaughter Anastasia.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings Chris, Jimmy, Adam, Ivy and Margaret.

A viewing will be held on June 14, 2024 from 1:30 to 2:45 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. Sandy, UT 84092) with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 pm.
