Judy Ann Medina was welcomed into heaven by her grandfather, Harry L Young on his birthday May 23, 2023, where we are certain excitement and celebrations occurred with other family and friends.
Judy was born December 27, 1951, to John Peter Michaels and Ruth Beverly Young. She was the 3rd of four daughters, they have been referred to as “The Bayley’s Beauties”. This must be true, since at a young age, Judy caught the eye of Steven J. Medina, at the St Patrick’s Church dance, where they fell madly in love. They were then married in Coalville, Utah on January 22, 1968 and they just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Shortly after their wedding, they welcomed their firstborn son, Steven Troy, and five years later, they were blessed with a beautiful baby daughter, Krista.
Judy had many jobs, but the ones she liked most were Payless Shoes, Village Inn, Chubby’s Mexican Restaurant, and her last job at England Trucking. Judy loved meeting, talking, and laughing with people of all walks of life, she made everyone feel special and welcome.
Her favorite things to do were league bowling, finding yard sales on the weekends, watching her favorite game shows on TV, and taking trips to Wendover, Nevada, and Malad, Idaho, She was always ready for a good bet. Whether it was a road trip, a car ride through the canyons or an adventure around town, she always enjoyed being out, especially if it was on a motorcycle or in a fast car, unless of course, she could be home around her grandchildren. She loved all of them so much.
Judy lived life Judy’s way, wild and a little bit crazy. You will hear many refer to her as “Crazy Judy”.
Judy will be missed by so many, most especially by her 3 sisters Sherrie, Vickie (Shan) and Janice, her husband Steve, children Troy and Kerri and their sons, Michael & Nicolas, Krista and her children, Kristina, Mariah & Guadalupe, Dominick & her 9 wonderful great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life and love for Judy will be held, Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. at Le Jardin, 1910 E. Dimple Dell Road, (10600 South) Sandy, Utah. A lite dinner will be served. Please come ready to share your favorite Judy story and hear many others.
