Kalli Marie Bevan Reese, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister passed away Thursday, August 1st, 2024 after a brave battle with appendiceal cancer.
She was born July 6th, 1983 to Bruce and Kathy Bevan in Salt Lake City, Utah. She came home to three excited big sisters who became her closest lifelong friends. At age four she became a big sister to her one brother and the family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. In 1995 her family moved back to Utah where she attended junior high and high school graduating from Alta High School in 2001. She spent a year at Utah State University and graduated from Salt Lake Community College. During college she worked at Modern Display where she met Andy Reese. Her older sister thought Kalli would never find anyone good enough for her but Andy proved her sister wrong as they were a perfect match. They were married and sealed for time and eternity on January 2nd, 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Kalli and Andy built a home of happiness, hard work and service. They added three beautiful children to their family. Elli Ann Reese born on Kalli’s 24th birthday in 2007. Avery Marie Reese born in 2010 and Drew Bevan Reese born in 2013.
Kalli loved being a wife and mother. Her home is one of love and happiness. She was the ultimate soccer mom, often stepping up to be a team mom. She supported her kids in all their activities, events and games. Kalli’s laid back personality made her a favorite person to be around. She was a great seamstress and made beautiful handmade gifts for her nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and she loved being outside swimming and hiking. Her favorite time of the year was the month of July. Kalli had a great sense of humor and was known for her April Fool’s Day pranks. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Island Park, Bear Lake and Disneyland with her extended family and in-laws.
She was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a Relief Society President, Stake Girls Camp Director and in various positions in the Primary.
Kalli was a beautiful soul and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. She was the best of us.
