Kathryn Bryner Christensen, age 75, passed away on January 7, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on November 8, 1950 to Alma Lloyd Bryner and Eunice Mae Stout Bryner. She married Warren Maiben Christensen on August 8, 1980.

Kathryn graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in ? She played the viola and played in the Mormon Youth Orchestra for ? years.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Warren Maiben Christensen and their son Peter Lloyd Christensen; her sisters Vaudys Dummer (Laird) and Carolyn Losee (Lyman); her brothers Jay Clifford Bryner (Susan) and Duane Joseph Bryner (Alaina).

She was preceded in death by her parents Alma Lloyd Bryner and Eunice Mae Stout Bryner, a sister Marsha Anderson (Frank) and a brother Lowell ? Bryner (Karin).

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Park Meadows Ward at 3219 South, 300 East in Souths Salt Lake, Utah at 11:00 a.m. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah 84117 and on the day of the funeral from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., prior to the services. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1977 South 400 East, Springville, Utah 84663.
