Our sweet mom, grandma, and great grandma Kathy Hastings (Taylor) passed away April 8, 2022.

Kathy was born May 19, 1949 in Salt Lake City. She had a wonderful full life and touched many. She was close to her mom and dad and worked at their nursing home in Salt Lake City. She also worked with great friends at La Morena and Chef Trujillos Cafe. She enjoyed her R&B music and loved to dance. She loved to gamble and her funnest trips would be with her sister Carolynn and her daughters. She kept the Coca-Cola business booming with her TAB purchases. You would never see her without a TAB in her hand. She loved playing pool and won many trophies. She was a young soul that drove around in her PT cruiser with a loud exhaust and fire flames going down the side so you could always recognize and hear her coming. Kathy was extremely loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her daughters Melinda Bouck (Jay), Angela Hastings (Tyler) and Amanda Hastings-Drain (Scott) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her brother Guy Taylor (Carol) and sister Robyn Richardson.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Jane Taylor. Her sisters Carolyn Taylor Masters, and Bonnie Smith. Brother Doug Taylor. Grandson Dylan Drain.

A visitation will be held at Larkin Mortuary 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT on Saturday, April 16th from 1:30-2:30pm with graveside services from 3-4pm at the Salt Lake Cemetery.
