Kayden Vernlund came into our lives on January 22, 2009. Born to Tyler Vernlund and Breanna Sorrels. From the moment he was born, he brought joy and a special kind of light to everyone. He was a sweet, vibrant soul.

As Kayden grew up, he enjoyed camping trips, hiking and hunting for treasures. He enjoyed helping his great-grandma working out in the yard. He loved riding his scooter and helping his grandma.

Kayden had two four-legged furry friends that he loved dearly and were always by his side; Thor (7-4-2024) and Loki.

Kayden is survived by his father, Tyler Vernlund; his uncles Shane Vernlund, David Reber, Judd Palmer and Sam Salisbury; his aunts Mischa Vernlund, Carolyn Collins, Michon Reber Palmer, and Dakota Palmer Salisbury; grandma Teri Vernlund; great-grandma Sharlene Puckett; his cousin Sean St. George. Kayden is also survived by his mother, Breanna Sorrels; his grandpa Tom Sorrels; his uncles Tom Jr Sorrels and Maddox Sorrels; as well as his aunt Chesi Sorrels.

Kayden, my little Punkin, left us on September 4, 2026, and his love will truly be missed.
