Kelly J. Glazier entered and began his journey of life on October 19th, 1945. Sadly for family and friends, his sojourn culminated on June 8th, 2025.
His parents, Leon and Jessie Glazier, produced a loyal son, devoted husband, intelligent father, loving grandpa, and supportive brother. Living most of his life in the Hurricane Valley, he was proud of his strong pioneer roots, who settled the town of Hurricane, UT. Kelly worked hard all of his life, enjoying a variety of occupations. Working for the family construction business, Safeway manager, Casino Craps Dealer, Substitute teacher at UNLV, Skilled long haul trucker, Airline pilot, and a mineral assayer.
As a seeker of knowledge, his favorite career was being a college student. His desire to learn never faded as his library collection of books grew and grew.
Dad loved spending time on Kolob Mtn., kayaking, fishing, and being around a campfire with family and friends. With his childhood sweetheart, he loved seeing new places around the world. He was a gifted musician, being talented on the piano, drums, cello, and guitar. Never a boring moment for dad.
Kelly was laid to rest next to his best friend and wife, Gail K Glazier, in Pintura, UT. He is loved and missed by his children, Troy, Jody, and Josh, his grandkids and great grandkids, along with his brother Jerry and sister Connie. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at the LDS Chapel in Hurricane, 274 S. 100 W., on October 18th from 3 to 5 p.m. with a tribute program beginning at 4 p.m.
Family and friends are invited to sign Kelly's online guestbook at www.SpilsburyMortuary.com
