Kevin Jay Dutson passed away

December 4, 2022 at his home with his loving wife right at his side after a battle with Alzheimers.

Kevin was born January 29, 1954 to LaVar and Carrol Dutson in Nephi Utah.

Kevin and his wife Lani were married May 11, 1973 and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

“‘Til we meet again.”

Kevin had a strong testimony and a love for Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation. He loved The Lord and all His teachings. He always strived to teach his family The Gospel. He was blessed with many talents and especially loved working with wood. He was great with auto mechanics, and carpentry work. He was a perfectionist at heart and loved making things for his wife. He loved teaching his kids everything he knew about tools and guns. They loved watching him and helping him work in the garage.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife Lani and his three daughters; Leslie (Jeff) Fowler, Heidi (Terry) Ehlers, Dixcie (Brad) Crook, 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Jayson.

Services will be held Thursday December 8, 2022 in the Fairview 1st ward chapel at

122 s State Street Fairview Utah.

Viewing/visiting from 12-1pm followed by funeral services from 1-2pm.
