With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Linda Jean Schindler, our loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother on December 21, 2021. She was a friend to all whose lives she touched. She left us in the early afternoon at Dixie Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed 76 beautiful years of life.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Grace and George Sutherland. Linda resided there for her entire life. During a shift as a waitress, she met her devoted husband, Danny Schindler, who loved her deeply. Married in Utah in 1974, they stayed in Salt Lake City to raise their family.
Linda was the beloved mother of Lon (Leslee), Wayne (Kim), and Julie (Victor) and a proud grandmother of Jeremy, Janae, Grace, Isabella, Lucas, and Lyndsey. Survived by Ernie (Laraine). She was preceded in death by Lamar (Harla), Ralph (Kathy), George (Cris), Loretta (Lon), Raymond (Marylyn), Delbert (Kay).
Her compassion and kindness were felt by all who were around her, and she knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. Linda loved to sew anything and everything for her grandchildren from princess dresses to Christmas quilts. She also liked to paint, do Sudoku, crochet, and plan parties to bring together the people she loved.
Most of all, Linda loved her family and friends and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
