Loismae Esther Fullmer

Together Again

Loismae Esther Nordin Fullmer passed away peacefully in her home on January 2, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 1, 1930, in Sherwood, Oregon to Olof Alexis Nordin and Esther Chapman Nordin.

Lois’ mother passed away when she was eight years old, and her father later married Regina Mitchell, whom Lois lovingly called “Mom.” She grew up on the Oregon coast and had a lifelong appreciation of the ocean’s beauty. She spoke often of her years there and remembered them fondly.

Lois was one of eight children and helped care for her younger siblings, forming close bonds and many lasting memories. On August 29, 1949, she married Floyd Ross Fullmer. Together, they raised three beautiful children: Michael Ross, Craig Nordin, and Lori Marie. Lois and Ross raised their family in Holladay, Utah, in the same home they cherished for 64 years.

Lois had quite the green thumb and beautiful flower gardens and plants in her home. She had a gift for identifying any flower she came across. In her adult years, she was part of a women’s bowling league with her friends and continued bowling for many years, until she was no longer able. Lois valued time spent with family and being in the company of those she loved.

Lois is survived by her children, Michael (Laurie), Craig (Deanna), and Lori; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Judy Hornburger (Andy). She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Ross Fullmer; her parents Olof, Esther, and Regina; and her siblings Vern, Walt, Floyd, Phyllis, Laura, and Mary.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to her hospice team, Mallory and Tanner, for their compassion and care. Special thanks are given to Savannah and Pat-our sweet angels-whose love and dedication made it possible for Lois to remain in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones, during her final moments.

Lois will be remembered for her strength, her dedication to family, and the life she built with care and purpose.

A viewing for Lois will take place on Saturday, January 10th, at 12:00-1:30 PM at Memorial Holladay Cottonwood 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah with a graveside service taking place at 2:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah.
