Lorena Ann Kupetz

Jan 26, 1947 Nov 11, 2025

Lorena Ann Kupetz, born in Hastings, Pennsylvania on January 26, 1947 to Blair and Mary Grace Shutty, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025 in St George, Utah. In Pennsylvania she raised a family of her own while working as a cook, caretaker and CNA. In 1995 she headed out west to Utah with her husband, Michael.

Lorena was a kind and forgiving soul, caring and loving toward others, selfless and patient, hard-working, and always a joy to be around. She was present in all she did, living life one day at a time. She was at her best when she was taking care of her family and friends. She was an earth angel to all who knew her.

Lorena loved so many things like the oldies, smelling flowers, chocolate, Kenny Rogers, cooking and baking, cats, chocolate, cheating at cards, singing, swimming, watching ALF, gardening, camping, and most of all... raising kids. She was a caretaker and friend to those closest to her. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many. She was loved.

She is survived by her sister, Cathy Rummell; brother, Regis Shutty; and sister, Colleen Milchack; 4 children, Patricia Candelaria, Joseph Lane, Michele Dewey, and Theresa Jessop; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Kupetz and her grandson Joseph Lane Jr.

Family and friends are invited to sign Lorena's online guest book at www.SpilsburyMortuary.com.
