Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully after a long struggle with ill health. She died on March 18, 2022, at age 80. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Marian was born in San Mateo. San Mateo County, California on June 12, 1941 to her parents Carl Felix Lofquist and Ruth Emily Babcock. She was the third daughter of 9 children, 7 girls and 2 boys.

Marian was first married to Gerald William Hannah and they had 4 children, Melinda, Janet, Brian and Jeffrey. Later divorced, in 1978. Her second marriage was to Cloyd Clark Wiscombe in 1979, later divorced, in 1984. Her third and last marriage was to Quinton Ralph Hurst on June 5th 1987 in the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah and they were happily married for 15 years before he died in 2002. They were blest with 14 children between them and have several grandchildren and great grandchildren which they loved very much and enjoyed visiting often.

Marian was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a very active and faithful member of the Church throughout her life. She loved the gospel and had a strong testimony. She enjoyed serving in the Church and served in various leadership positions and as a teacher and a chorister.

Her hobbies were scrapbooking, Family History, tole painting, hand stitching projects and traveling.

Marian is proceeded in death by her husband Quinton R. Hurst, her parents Carl and Emily Lofquist, five sisters, Carol, Judy, Kristina, Barbara, Donna, and one brother David, and one son, Brian. She is survived by three of her children, Melinda, Janet (Kevin), and Jeffrey (Liz) and one sister, Patricia and one brother, John. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 10 step-children and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren too numerous to mention.
