Marilyn P. Cameron, aged 87, passed away on December 30, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on October 19, 1933 in Murray, Utah to E. Walter Peterson and Elsie H. Peterson. She married Vern Cameron on February 18, 1989.

She was a graduate of Murray High School. Her career was spent with Mountain Bell.

Marilyn loved to travel, shop and play Keno. She loved her trips to Laughlin and Wendover. She enjoyed seeing the fall colors each year. She was a fan of the Diamondbacks and the Jazz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vern Cameron, her parents, E. Walter Peterson and Elsie H. Peterson, and sister, Nancy Calvin.

Marilyn is survived by her brother, Russell (Deanna) Peterson, son, Chris (Dianna) Cameron, nieces; Michelle (Brent) Jorgensen and Carmelle Calvin, nephews; Jeremy, Kory and Craig Peterson and several step-children; Joyce, Scott, Cory, Janet and Bart.

An evening viewing will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Murray Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East in Murray, Utah. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM the following day, Friday, January 8, 2021, at Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah.

Following the State of Utah’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced.
