It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Stenholm, 66, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 7, 2024, in Riverton, Utah, with his daughters by his side.

Mark Stenholm, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was known for his love of fishing and his talent for crafting and repairing. He always found joy in working with his hands. His blades were always sharp, and his firearms were kept in pristine condition, reflecting his attention to detail and care for the things he loved.

You’d never see Mark without a fishing pole or a pea shooter in hand, often barefoot with his dog faithfully by his side. His quick wit and sarcasm were ever-present, but if you weren’t paying attention, you might just miss it.

He is survived by his brothers, Dan and Carl; daughters, Crystal and Tiffany; sons, John and Travis; son-in-law Stephen; ex-wife Karla; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Arnold; mother, Shirley; and sister, Denise.

His love for the outdoors, his humor, and his love and dedication to family and craftsmanship will be remembered with warmth and fondness by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. You may visit with the family prior to services at a viewing from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
