Our Dear Loving Maureen passed away peacefully November 4th at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 88. Maureen Ann Kunz was born January 6, 1933. Maureen grew up in Murray, Utah and attend Granite High School.
She then met Warren Howard Johnson, and they were happily married for 69 Years.
They built a home together in Murray next to her mother (who she loved dearly). They both work very hard at raising their twelve children. Seven sons (Kelly, Dale, Steve, Cory, Shane, Jared and Cody) and Five daughters (Cherre, Kim, Susie, Judy, Shannon), whom are all married and have families of their own. Maureen was a loving and devoted wife and mother. For many years she helped Warren with his foundation and grading business, while caring for her family, whom she loved spending time with. Maureen was a Lady of many talents. In her early years Maureen had her own kilns, and she made and taught ceramics. She was also amazing at Crafting, painting, sewing. She loved Music, playing and teaching piano.
She loved flowers and enjoyed being in her gardens and was so good at canning the fruits and vegetables.
We will all remember her special bread pudding and potato salad she made for the holidays, and the wonderful Loaves, of Wheat bread.
Maureen was always warm and thoughtful and ready to lend a helping hand to any one in need. Her generosity was inspiring.
In 1987, Warren and Maureen moved to Bluffdale, Utah where they built a new home and it was where they spent their remaining years together.
Maureen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren Howard Johnson.
Maureen was deeply loved, will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday the 10th from 6-8 PM at the Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday the 11th at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road Taylorsville, Utah 84123. Interment immediately following.
