The old man of the mountains has made his final journey home to our Heavenly Father. He made his last climb with his beloved wife, Sandy and his children at his side, all bound together in love and their temple covenants.

He never turned down an opportunity to pursue an outdoor adventure. He was an avid fan of University of Utah athletics. As a young man Reece was a pioneer in Alpine skiing in Utah. In his 20’s he helped lead a group of Boy Scouts into the remote Escalante Canyon, long before Lake Powell.
