Michelle Mary Metz-Kelley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away September 25th, 2024.

Michelle was known for her big heart, beautiful smile and love for animals. She was always able to make others around her smile as well.

Michelle was the second born of six children (Siblings: Ann Marie, Mary Joan, Marty, Eileen and Peggy) in Kansas City, MO. Her siblings would agree she was very athletic, swimming and horseback riding being her favorites. Once she was married she was a loyal wife to her husband of 41 years, sons and family, Throughout their moves to St. Louis Mobile AL, Thomasvillle, NC then settling in Salt Lake City, UT, everywhere she went she was loved.

Mom looked forward to every day, especially Sunday Mass. Her love for the church and Jesus never faded. She was a very devout Catholic.

After receiving her nursing degree, she committed her time to one of the toughest hospitals, General Hospital, in Kansas City in addition to being an loving mother.

She loved, laughed and cared deeply for everyone she came in contact with. Our family and friends will truly miss you Michelle.

She is survived by Scott Kelley (husband), sons Jesse (Ashley), Tim, Sam (Kristina), grandchildren Emma, Avalyn and Lukas.
