Monica L. Bell - (22-August-2015 to 18-July-2026) - During her short life, she enjoyed all kinds of art (including drawing on herself), Squishmallows, squishies, stuffed animals, cooking, helping her dad with their off-grid property, making friends, and axolotls (her favorite animal).
She loved her parents, and she loved her little brother most of the time, when he wasn't terrorizing her.
She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2022, and dealt with finger sticks, insulin shots, insulin pumps, CGM's, counting carbs, and blood draws. She was a trooper through it all, even though she hated everything about it.
She died in an accidental drowning, and her family loves and misses her beyond all measure.
She is survived by her father James, mother Vanessa, and little brother James. Her family held a private service. They would like to thank the Hurricane Valley FD and EMS for all of their efforts, which were nothing less than truly heroic.
Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. 435-673-2454.
