Natalie Ann Klun

Apr 19, 1958 Sep 22, 2024

Natalie Ann Klun, beloved wife, sister, aunt step-mom/grandma, and friend passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at her home in Washington, UT, on September 22, 2024, at the age of 66.

Natalie was born on April 19, 1958, in Kemmerer, WY, to Frank “Bill” and Patsy (Rose) Klun. She graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1976 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Utah State University in 1980. Shortly after, Natalie began her successful career with JC Penney Company, where she worked in various management roles in their accounting centers in Salt Lake City and Pittsburgh, as well as in their buying offices in California. At the pinnacle of her career, she achieved director status which truly broke the glass ceiling. Her career with JC Penney spanned over 35 years before she retired in 2017, leaving a legacy of professionalism, dedication, and kindness.

Natalie had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the ocean, enjoying visits to Maui, where she found peace and happiness in the waves. In her retirement, she discovered a love for golf, spending cherished time with her husband, Trace, on the courses and indulged in a little friendly gambling with trips to Mesquite, NV.

Known for her kindness and creative spirit, Natalie was a master at spreading joy to others. Her thoughtfulness knew no bounds, including her "boxes of sunshine" – carefully curated gifts filled with comfort and warmth for those experiencing loss. Her generosity and empathy were a beacon of light to family, friends, and acquaintances alike.

She is survived by her loving husband, Trace Bunderson; sister and family, Cindy (Colby) Waisath, Taylor and Courtney; step-daughters and family, Brandi (Mark) Olson, Nate, Nick and Brooke and Monica (Bryan) Heaton, Coby and Tyler, Tysen (Kailee) Kaysen and Blakley.

Natalie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank “Bill” and Patsy Klun; sister, Michelle Klun.

Natalie loved and cherished each of her family members and her dear friends. Her kind heart and vibrant personality will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Natalie’s name to your favorite charity or simply send someone who has experienced a loss, a little box of sunshine with Natalie in mind.

Arrangements entrusted to Spilsbury Mortuary of St. George, Utah and Mitchell Funeral Home of Price, Utah where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Natalie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
