Noah was born on January 7, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and immediately became the light of her family. Her name represented the miracle of resilience through challenge, and she defied the odds again and again during her life. Noah spent the first nine months of her life fighting heroically in the cardiac intensive care unit of Primary Children's Hospital, where she became beloved by everyone who cared for her for her courage, her determination, and her strength. Noah was discharged from the hospital in September 2020, and left everyone in awe as she exceeded all expectations, growing and thriving under her family's loving care. She loved dancing, playing, listening to music, zooming around on her scooter, and being with her dad. She celebrated her third birthday with a Noah's ark cake in January, as well as lots of dancing. Her smile could melt your heart, and she loved animals and could name all their sounds. Noah is survived by her parents, Wilmer Gonzalez and Jennette Landaeta, her sister Andrea Landaeta, her brother Xavier Gonzalez, her aunt Arianny Martinez and her uncle Luis Barroso. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Davila. Our hearts are broken. Her light will continue to shine through the many lives that she touched.
A funeral service for Noah will be held at 11am on Monday August 14, 2023 at the Redwood Memorial Estate located at 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. This will be followed by interment at West Jordan City Cemetery at 12pm, located at 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan, UT 84088. The family asks that those who attend the funeral wear white or pink, if possible, rather than black.
