Nyle J. Matthews, 86, passed away August 15, 2018 in Monroe. He was born on December 17, 1931 in Liberty, Idaho to Jesse and Eva Hymas Matthews. Married Karen Ashman in the Logan Temple on July 1, 1958. Survived by his wife; children: Julie (Dennis) Meldrum, Lori Brinkerhoff, Sheryl Matthews, Michael (Tiffany) Matthews and Jennifer (Thomas) Baker; 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel in Richfield, where the Matthews family will receive friends Friday even between 6:00 and 8:00 pm, and again Saturday between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Richfield City Cemetery with military honors by the V.F.
