Patricia Ann Husband Jarvis, age 77 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away quietly on November 16, 2020 after battling health issues. Pat was born in 1943 to Margaret 'Maggie' VanSickle and Ellis Marvin Husband in Salinas, California. She moved around as a child (her father was in the military) until her parents settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pat graduated from Granger High School in 1961. She married Jerald Jarvis in 1964, had 2 daughters, and moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. When they divorced, Pat moved back to Utah. She lived in the Salt Lake City area until after retirement, when Pat moved to Las Vegas.
Survived by her children Karolyn (James) Crabtree and Karlene (Jesse) Romo. Grandchildren Kennith (Leigha) Priest, Travis (Annalyce) Priest, Rebecca Priest, Apollo Crabtree, and Kirian Crabtree. Six great grandchildren. Brother Charles 'Charlie' Husband. Pat's sister Carol (Lee) Berryman passed away on May 20, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother William 'Bill' Husband.
Pat was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, though not active. She was life long member of Beta Sigma Phi International Women's sorority, joining in Idaho Falls. She worked several jobs during her life, including Lamb's Café as a young woman (she talked about this job often). After returning to Salt Lake City, Pat was hired as a directory assistance operator for Mountain Bell, which later became US West (now CenturyLink). She retired from this position in 2002.
No memorial service was given due to the ongoing pandemic. In remembrance of our dear mother, we would appreciate the sharing of stories about Pat.
