1933 ~ 2016

Patsy Ann Eccles Barnes, our beloved mother and grandmother, left this life on March 18, 2016.

Mom was born in Boulder City, Nevada on May 2, 1933 to Stewart B. and Fern Jones Eccles. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from South High School where she sang in the A'Cappella Choir.

She married Blaine A. Barnes on September 4, 1953. They made their home in Magna, Utah and raised three daughters and two sons.

After retirement, Mom settled in Scottsdale, Arizona and treasured her friendships there with Carol, Ann and Elizabeth.

Mom was a great conversationalist and definitely had the "gift of gab." Mom loved her family, the sun, blue skies, sports and her beloved dog Beau.

Mom is preceded in death by her Parents, siblings: Blaine and Jerry, her son Scott, granddaughter Kavie and sons in law. She is survived by daughters: Wendy (Que), Paula, Jenifer and son Jeffrey, eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express thanks to the Hospice of the Valley Eckstein Center of Scottsdale, AZ for their kindness, care and support.

At Mom's request, there will be no services. A Private family memorial will be held at a later date.
