Rob was raised in Sugarhouse in the 4th generational home. He was a go getter and determined to get ahead. He had a paper route, later joining the YCC to do conservation work from the canyon camp. During teen years he worked at the Hygeia ice plant to earn money to help buy a car. Attending the University of Utah with the help of a scholarship, he graduated with a degree in engineering. Rob worked for Hercules/Alliant Tech for many years and also Klune Manufacturing. He carried on the tradition of camping, hunting and fishing. He was also fond of music concerts. He is survived by his parents Robert G. And LaVon, sister Darcy Skorish (Michael) niece Lauren, nephew Joey. Preceded in death by little brother Trent. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
