Ronald Garth Daybell

Jan 10, 1936 Dec 9, 2020

Ronald Garth Daybell, age 84, was reunited with his beloved wife, Betty Daybell, on December 9, 2020.

He was born on January 10, 1936, the third of seven children, born to LaVar Miles and Myrle Petersen Daybell.

He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, his horses, and traveling with mom and the dogs in their RV. Ronald also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Steve (Polly), Carma (Acel), Gary (Joey), and Kevin (Malinda), 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Kenneth (Shirleen), JoAnn, and Dorothy (Dennis).

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Duane, his granddaughter, Kami, and his siblings, Richard, Barbara, and Doug.

We would like to thank the amazing hospice team that has given dad such loving care: Trenaisa Nay, GNP-BC, Maile Tevake, and Carlos Soto. Also, the family would like to give a special thank you to Aunt JoAnn, who gave so much of her time and love during this difficult time.

A viewing will be held for Ron on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.

Following the State of Utah’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
