Ronald "Ron" Fowles Strang

Mar 19, 1939 Aug 17, 2022

Our Beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother and Friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born March 19, 1939 in Scofield, Utah to William and Leda Strang.

Dad was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and spending summers at his Joe’s Valley cabin he built himself with family. He touched many lives of family and friends with his compassion and loving spirit. He was an inspiration to all. He loved children and being a grandpa was his greatest joy in life. He always looked forward to getting hand-drawn pictures from his granddaughter, Bailee, and his weekly visits from his great-grandson, Jack.

Dad had a great sense of humor that will be missed.  We want to thank his lifelong friend of 83 years, Cody (Sylvia) Leek, also, Kevin (Valla) LaBoa, Sarah (Jared) Tobler and their two sons, Everett and Tristan, Richard and Frances Coesens, Anthony Perkins and Chris Ulibarri, for being such good friends to him and Mom.

Dad is survived by his children; Jody (Kent) LaBoa, Kelly (Rick) Lambert, Thomas (Andrea) Strang, sister-in-law, Wendy Harvey (who is like a sister), grandchildren; Nicole (Marc) Fisher, Chris (Kiana) Lambert, Tyler (Kaylin) Lambert and Bailee Strang; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kadence, Ronnie, and his sister, Sue (Denny) Camomile.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife and son, Kathryn and Russell, his parents, his brothers, William Jr., Bud, Richard, Larry and Harry (twins) and his sisters, Shirley and Darlene.

Dad’s family meant everything to him and he will be deeply and dearly missed.

His wishes were to be cremated and to not have a service.
