Roslind Joy McBride Warner

Jun 25, 1951 Dec 14, 2024

Roslind Joy McBride Warner passed peacefully on December 14,2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fillmore, Utah to Newton and Marjorie McBride. As a child, she loved being with her father and riding horses. In her youth, Roslind gained a strong love of animals that continued throughout her life with her many cherished pets. Roslind graduated from Millard High School in 1969, where she played in the band and made many friends.

Roslind met the love of her life, Dwight Fred Warner and the two love birds were married for 52 beautiful years. Their children Marci Heaton (Joseph) (both deceased), Russell Warner (Rosey), Robyn Brown (Todd) and Carly Woltjer (Ryan) and their families were the center of Roslind's life. In 1981, Roslind graduated from nursing school and began a career as a nurturing and caring health care professional. Roslind was an exceptional nurse who loved and cared deeply for the patients she served.

Over her 32-year nursing career, Roslind spent time working at the St. George Regional Hospital-third floor, hospice, and finished her career serving patients in IV therapy. The result of her life experience with her own health related battles led Roslind to her most treasured work, working with cancer patients in the IV Therapy clinic where she made many lifelong friends.

Over their 52-year marriage, Roslind enjoyed the many wonderful adventures she and Dwight had together. These adventures included worldwide travel, temporary summer residence in their motorhome at places like Alaska, Fish Lake, Mexico, and Arizona . Many lifelong friends and acquaintances were made on these trips and temporary residences and Roslind enjoyed telling her family and friends about them. During her many summers in Ketchikan Alaska, Roslind developed a deep love of fishing. Roslind became a master at catching salmon and pulling large halibut up off the bottom of the ocean with just the push of a button.

Roslind is survived by her loving husband, Dwight; children, Russell, Robyn and Carly and 15 grandchildren; brother, Kelly McBride (Bernadette) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Daniel McBride and daughter Marci Heaton.
