Sally Ann Maxfield, 83, passed away on September 30, 2026. She was born on June 9, 1943, in Lyman, Wyoming to Joseph Anderson and Clara Wyerman. She married Gary Lee Maxfield on February 7, 1983, in Midvale, Utah.
She lived her adolescent years in Magna, Utah, with her parents and six older siblings. In her early adult years, she attended Cyprus High School and Utah State Beauty College. After college, she worked for a hair salon in Bountiful and eventually built a salon in the family basement, where she worked until retirement.
She and Gary loved Star Valley, Wyoming, and traveled there every summer for the past 30 years. Sally was very good at golf; she shot two holes-in-one and achieved stroke play champion. She loved arts and crafts, painting rocks, ceramics, playing the organ, and enjoyed working in the yard.
She is survived by her loving husband Gary, who resides in St. George, Utah; children Greg Maxfield (Marcelle) of Bountiful, Utah; Debbie Maxfield (Rob) of Riverton, Utah; Troy Snow of Fredonia, Arizona; Todd Snow of Phoenix, Arizona; David Maxfield (Teri) of Syracuse, Utah and Travis Snow (Galyna) of Sandy, Utah; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday October 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S Bluff Street, St. George, Utah 84770.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dixie Home Rehab and Hospice 352 East Riverside Dr St. George, Utah 84790.
