Scott grew up in Springvale, ME and spent a lot of his time in the small town of Milton Mills, NH where he had many friends and family. He attended Sanford High School then went on to spend 8 years in the US Air Force before joining the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s office as a deputy. He met some of his lifelong friends during his time at the Sherriffs office. Scott resided in Salt Lake City for 28 years before moving to Saint George, Utah with his Wife Kelly Bowley and Step Daughter, Portia Fauver.
Scott loved motorcycles and spent a great deal of time riding through the canyons of northern Utah with his friends. He had a love for amusement parks, jet skis, and cliff diving; those are the things that made him feel alive. From jumping off the cliffs back home at the Wells quarry to bungee jumping or flying in an F-16 fighter jet. He loved anything fast.
